This historical photo dates from 1945 and features Generalisimo Francisco Franco, the fascist dictator of Spain. Franco rose to power in the Spanish Civil War as a fascist, yet kept his country from (fully) aligning with Hitler in World War II -- Spain was technically neutral -- and even transitioned the country before his death to a democratic state. Apparently he enjoyed fishing, too...
