The UNID Files #10: The Case of the Big and Little Brass Minnows

The UNID Files #10: The Case of the Big and Little Brass Minnows

Here comes another UNID from the King of UNIDs--Gary Deppe. It is a neat set of Devon-like baits (but without fixed wings), likely from the same manufacturer, but one is small and the other huge.

The attached pics are of two very similar, but very different baits.  Maker is unknown, but I'm sure they were both made by the same company or individual.  High quality baits.  One's for the minnows and one's for the muskies!  Both have similar paint jobs over a hollow metal body.  Possibly brass.  Both look to maybe have copper props up front.  I've always been intrigued by the fly bait and then was fortunate enough to recently pick up the monsterous musky version.  Would now love to acquire the middle or bass size companion to these beauties.

With your help, maybe someone out there can lift the veil of UNID fog from this duo.

My first thought is absolutely they are from the same hand. Anyone recognize these babies? Email Gary at gdeppe AT quickclic DOT net.
