This week in 1000 words we get a superb fishing photo dated 1938 of the hall-of-fame Philadelphia A's slugger Jimmie Foxx. Old Double X could clout with the best of them (58 home runs in a single season) and he could clearly fish with the best of them, too. What a catch!
