The Friday Funhouse

Video of the Week

Dan Basore sends in this video of William J. Cullerton, the last surviving fighter pilot ace from the legendary Dragon Squadron. For those who don't know, Cullerton also owned Jamison Fishing Tackle after Bill Jamison passed away!

12 Things I Would Buy If Only I Could Afford Them

Even a late Pflueger Medalist can be valuable in the correct box.

A Heddon #900 is a very cool lure.

This Meisselbach Neptune 40 in the box is a classic surf reel.

Anyone who tells you that Montague did not make great reels, show them this Neptune Special for starters.

This post-war Endicott Wilson big game reel is neat.

A Talbot Eli is a superb casting machine.

Sometimes eBay throws up a nice educational surprise; I had never heard of a Pilot Reel from Princeton, NJ before.

I miss Stan Bogdan a little bit more every time I see one of his reels.

This is a nifty color on a Heddon lure.

This Masterlure in the box is driving the saltwater collectors crazy.

I have never seen a Bill's Action Salmon Plug before…but it is cool!

Any reel made by legend Jack Welch is going to be very, very desirable.

As always, have a great weekend -- and be good to each other, and yourself.
