Friday Funhouse

The Friday Funhouse

The Video of the Week

I was talking to some of the more intrepid ORCAns at the IGFA Nationals. Some of them had been fishing for arowana in the Amazon. I'd only read about this fish so I thought I'd put a video of a Brazilian angler catching one.

Things I Would Buy If Only I Could Afford Them

How about a George Lawrence creel made for Orvis?

An Ed. vom Hofe Restigouche is a wonderful salmon reel.

This hand made Jack Welch Dowagiac tournament reel is one of the nicest of its kind.

An early Heddon 150 in a wood slide top box will top any Heddon collector's wish list.

This Meek & Milam #2 Kentucky reel is one honey of a baitcaster!

Holy early Smithwicks, Batman!

It's rare Yellow Flash Pikie month on ebay. Witness this 7200 Surfster.

Now look at this Giant Pikie in Yellow Flash...

The Turbulent Lure in the box from Racine, WI is a nifty, nifty bait.

This Heddon Vamp dealer sign has lots of "wow" character.

I just love this Fred Thomas Special trout rod.

A Garcia Mitchell 840 doesn't come to market very often.

One of the nicest of Dick Spurr's Centennial Publication books is this very rare biography of L.L. Dickerson.

An early Falls City Winner minnow bucket has gotten the bucketheads of the world's attention.

They really don't come much nicer than this CCBC Fly Rod Pikie in the square box.

As always, have a happy and safe weekend and be good to each other and yourself.
