Friday Funhouse

The Friday Funhouse

I'm sure many of us are suffering from a Langover, but we must wade back into the muck of eBay to find us some gems. It's the Friday Funhouse, brought to you from the dreary and cold Queen City (and we're not talking Titusville, PA).

Video of the Week

I have not watched the following full length video, but as the clip shows, anyone who boats 30 northerns in three days over 23 pounds is doing all right in my book.

Things I Would Buy If I Could Afford Them

One of the truly beautiful reels ever made is the four-screw Montague, and this VL&A Expert was offered for over 20 years in VL&A catalogs. It is a thing of beauty.

As a River Runt Spook collector, they don't get much cooler than this DD0350RT, a Tiny Deep Dive Runt in Rainbow Trout.

This Bagley in frog is so pretty it should change some people's minds about this very important and popular company.

This is a really interesting salesman's sample of something called Norwood Baits. They look like low end dime store lures, so the fact they survived in decent condition makes them even more desirable.

The Heddon of the Week: A Heddon 7001 Musky in Rainbow. Anything big enough to need six belly weights is a whopper of a lure.

Florida collectors are salivating over this Pfeffer Bluegill, the centerpiece of any Pfeffer collection.

A really awesome reel is this Ed. vom Hofe 1/0 Wahoo.

This Ed. vom Hofe is in a very interesting box...

Finally, in honor of Hollywood giving the greenlight to the Green Hornet movie, you can get the ultimate (Bronson) Green Hornet package and beat the rush.

Be good to each other, and yourself.
