Back when I used to do the Monday news feature on the blog (a very time consuming thing that often had 30 or more links to fishing articles of all types) I used to love writing "13 Year Old Girl is Better Angler Than You" whenever stories like this pop up.
A 13-year old girl named Victoria Navaroli reeled in the nearly 2 pound Green Sunfish, a new state record in North Carolina. It's a charming story and I'm genuinely pleased to see her break this record. It's a massive fish, and yes, I am sure she is a better angler than you to boot.
